Pay Range: $18 - $22/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training: There will be 5 weeks of training (in-person) and 4 weeks of on-the-job training (4 days in office and 1 day at home). The training will start on Jan 6, so individuals must be ready to start on that date.
  • Post-Training Shift Work: Currently, it can be anywhere from 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM CT and they will have to work mandatory Saturdays, they will have Friday off.
  • In addition, this role protects the financial interests of our client by communicating with members, non-members, and/or external third parties to collect and resolve delinquent accounts. Accounts are handled and worked following operational standards.
  • Through 100% phone-based interactions, responsible for understanding the members' needs and delivering personalized solutions and education that will improve the member's overall financial security.
  • Service both inbound and outbound phone calls across all client product lines through automated and manual outbound dialing in an attempt to collect payment and/or arrange for payments, utilizing effective telephone collection techniques and principles while meeting call service levels.
  • Under close supervision, performs individual member needs assessment to quickly determine the member's reason for delinquency and provide customized solutions and advice to improve their financial security.
  • With close supervision, negotiates mutually satisfactory payment arrangements within defined guidelines.
  • Follows all applicable local, state, and national laws and regulations surrounding the collection industry and within client standards.
  • Under close supervision, completes required account verification and account maintenance.
  • Documents all pertinent customer contact information and updates collection attempts/call results into the appropriate database.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills:Debt Collections on Auto/Consumer Loans and Overdrawn bank accounts; Call Center environment; Auto-dialer; MS Excel .
  • MS Excel, MS Word, Auto-dialer experience preferred.
  • Must have experience working in a Call Center environment.
