Wealth With No Regrets in Alpharetta, GA is seeking to add Financial Planner with a CPA designation to our team!
Wealth With No Regrets® is an independent investment management firm that provides financial and retirement planning, wealth management, tax strategies, protection and legacy planning, and fiduciary services to high- net-worth business owners, executives, professionals and independent women who have accumulated $1 million or more in savings. We are a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) overseeing more than $275 million in assets.
Skills and experience needed:
• Bachelor's degree in an area such as Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA Required
• 1+ year of relevant experience in a financial services environment minimum, required.
• CFP highly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Excel and expertise in creating formulas and building spreadsheets is very important.
• Have an internal drive to take initiative and find solutions.
• Have a desire and ability to learn and grow in financial planning, with an emphasis on tax solutions and strategies
• Attention to detail and accuracy of data entry and planning and presented
materials.
• Possess written language skills with very few grammatical mistakes.
• Have strong verbal communication and a comfortable level communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time management.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills for thinking through a planning situation for the opportunities, dangers, and relationship between taxes, inveI sting and distributions.
• Demonstrated ability to take direction, work collaboratively within a team structure and with advisors.
Ideally, you'd have:
• Exposure or experience in Wealthy & Wise or eMoney or similar financial planning software.
• Exposure or experience in Redtail CRM system.
• Exposure or experience in Tax estimating software such as Holistiplan.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Information Gathering and Analysis:
• Interpret client financial statements to pull from them the relevant information needed for evaluating current issues and opportunities.
• Build a spreadsheet of all the financial holdings so they can be evaluated for risk, allocation and more.
• Calculate fees, costs, and expenses of investments in current plan.
• Enter relevant client data into the financial planning software and evaluate and compare scenarios.
• Assess current tax liabilities of current investment and retirement holdings.
• Build client friendly income charts and retirement cash flows.
• Input investment performance and financial product results into financial plan models.
• Create a comparison of investment asset performance.
• Review analysis, documents, and reports with advisory team, with an emphasis on tax strategies and opportunities.
Plan Design:
• Contribute to planning sessions by presenting advisory team the findings, reports, analysis, and drafts of plans for discussion and refinement.
• Finalize financial plans in the planning software under the guidance of an Advisor
• Ensure analysis and plan presentation materials have appropriate disclosures and meet compliance rules.
• Ensure accuracy of data and language within planning documents by utilizing internal checklists and templates when applicable.
• Assemble needed supporting materials of financial products and investments are being utilized for the presentation to prospects and clients.
• Presentation Materials:
• Ensure excellence, timeliness, accuracy, consistency, and relevance of planning and analysis materials to be presented to prospects and clients.
• Knowledge of Planning Strategies & Techniques:
• Develop and grow financial planning knowledge base by attending internal training sessions, reading industry publications and trainings as well as acquiring planning certifications.
Compliance:
• Remain in compliance with the firm's policies and procedures as required by the Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulatory authorities, which include things like making sure no misleading statements or materials are presented.
Salary:
• $120,000 - $150,000
