Building homes is not just our job; it's our passion, ingrained in our DNA.Your Next Great AdventureThe Financial Planning Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Vice President of Financial Operations by driving key financial forecasting and analytical activities. This position will be responsible for forecasting the division's financial operations, company cash flow, and land acquisition financial outcomes. Additionally, the analyst will prepare, review, and provide in-depth analysis of operational reports, delivering insights that guide strategic decision-making and enhance financial performance across the organization.Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection and review of due diligence materials, including environmental reports, surveys, and title documents.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date files of all land acquisition documentation, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
- Serve as a liaison between the land acquisition team, internal departments, and external parties such as sellers, brokers, and consultants.
- Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets for land acquisition projects.
- Track expenses and payments related to land acquisition activities and ensure timely processing of invoices.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on the status of land acquisition projects.
- Provide data and insights to support decision-making processes within the land acquisition team.
QualificationsSuccess is Built On
- Bachelor's degree required in either Accounting or Finance.
- At least 3 years of professional experience responsible for financial analysis in a real estate company.
- Advanced EXCEL experience and exposure to Essbase and BRIX is highly desirable.
- Adaptive and resilient interpersonal skills to deal with a broad spectrum of personnel.
- Accepts accountability and autonomy willingly.
