The Financial Planning Associate plays a vital role in supporting financial advisors by preparing detailed financial plans, managing client relationships, and ensuring the smooth execution of operational tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with financial advisors to prepare and develop customized financial plans, including retirement, investment, tax, and estate planning strategies.
- Conduct financial analyses and develop recommendations based on clients' goals, risk tolerance, and financial status.
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations and reports for meetings and review sessions.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation using financial planning software and CRM systems.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, gathering necessary financial documents, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition.
- Participate in client meetings alongside senior advisors, taking detailed notes and following up on action items.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and financial products to ensure the highest level of service for clients.
- As needed, provide administrative support to advisors, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and tracking workflows.
- Actively engage in professional development opportunities and work toward obtaining relevant certifications (e.g., CFP® designation).

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial planning concepts, including investments, retirement planning, insurance, and estate planning.
- Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro) and CRM systems (Salesforce).
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Highly motivated, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the financial planning profession.
- Progress toward or interest in pursuing the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) designation is a plus.
Salary Description $80,000 with Bonus Potential
