Please contact Human Resources if you require an accommodation.BASIC FUNCTION:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Project Manager. In this role, you will function as the primary point of contact for all the financial matters related to designated subsidiaries. You will manage financial records, review vendor payments, communicate with subsidiary staff, and ensure compliance with all financial procedures. This is a key position requiring a strong understanding of contracts and cash expenditures, along with the ability to meet deadlines, ensure timely completion of tasks and deliver quick turnaround on urgent requests. WORK PERFORMED:
  • Serve as the primary liaison for all financial matters, ensuring clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide financial management support for assigned subsidiaries or corporate projects by understanding key funding issues and associated disbursements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial activities between subsidiaries and ESD.
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of all vendor payment requests, ensuring verification of amounts due, funding adequacy, and compliance with approval processes and contract adherence to approved contract terms.
  • Collaborate with subsidiary staff to review and edit monthly cash flow worksheets.
  • Regularly update internal financial and revenue reports, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Review, comment upon, and contribute to the preparation of items for presentation to the Board of Directors.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with subsidiary/project staff and corporate departments to ensure smooth and effective financial operations.
  • Participate in special projects and perform financial analyses as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education Level Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree.Equivalent Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in finance/financial project management and reporting.Experience in financial analysis, accounting and/or internal audit. Ability to create and maintain Excel financial spreadsheets, analyses and reconciliations.Knowledge Desired: Outstanding analytical skills a must. Strong Microsoft Office skills are required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines. Knowledge of PeopleSoft preferred.
