ABOUT THE POSITION

The Financial Analyst will assist the needs of the global finance group by providing financial and analytical support in all financial matters of the business. This position will be involved in monthly closing process along with assisting in a variety of projects and ad hoc analysis to enhance business profitability and further growth of the Company.

The Financial Reporting Analyst will report directly to the Manager of Financial Reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Review monthly financial reporting from all global subsidiaries for accuracy and completeness prior to uploading into financial consolidation software.
  • Perform month-end analytical tasks from income statement and product driven data.
  • Play a supporting role in the month-end close, including but not limited to, preparation of journal entries, assisting with the consolidation process utilizing OneStream consolidation software, account and intercompany reconciliations, preparation of financial statements and other reports, dissemination of EBITDA trends and corresponding analyses.
  • Provide support with the completion of our annual audit by preparing workpapers, footnotes, and other supporting documentation as required.
  • Maintain and create visual data for management's review.
  • Engage in the further development of our OneStream consolidation software in a wide range of areas.
  • Monitor capex projects against approved budgets and provide analysis of proposed new spending.
  • Responsible for handling highly confidential information.
  • Be a key contributor of monthly financial analysis and board meeting preparations.
  • Support M&A activity in both due-diligence and integration of potential and future acquisitions.
  • Overall, assist with the Company's goal of continuous improvement in the reliability and timeliness of the Company's financial statements and all reporting requirements.
  • Adhere to all Company safety standards, trainings and other HS&E requirements, which includes reporting injuries/illnesses and/or environmental incidents.
  • Perform all other duties assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years' experience in accounting in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Experience working with entities outside of the U.S. preferred.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

Business Acumen

  • Experience working as an accountant with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Familiarity with various ERP systems and consolidation software.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and research skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficient in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions based on investigation and judgment with the ability to discern when to escalate issues.

Communication Skills

  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to present information concisely to management, employees and peers.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with executives, managers, and employees.
  • Proactive team player.
  • Ability to listen and to follow-up when needed.

Work Environment

Office setting with partial remote (partial remote work not guaranteed to continue). Potential travel time may be required.
