A growing company is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Analyst to join the team. In this critical role, you will support the analysis of financial statements and compile reports that drive business decisions. This position will be based onsite in Morgantown, WV.
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and consolidate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, preparing detailed variance reports.
- Coordinate financial statement preparation with the external audit team.
- Support the development of forecasts and budgets.
- Maintain accurate and detailed general ledger records.
- Research and resolve accounting issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure precise and timely financial reporting.
- Stay current with industry best practices.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, contractors, vendors, and key stakeholders.
- Must be able to perform light physical tasks, including exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally, and completing repetitive activities requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.
