Financial Reporting Associate $100,000/yrWe are seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Associate to join our team. Ideal candidates will bring 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with financial services clients. Candidates should hold a CPA certification or be in the process of obtaining it.
Responsibilities: - Prepare annual, quarterly, and interim financial statements and footnotes per U.S. GAAP
- Generate investor-specific monthly reports and handle investor inquiries
- Perform monthly/quarterly accounting reconciliations to verify accuracy
- Compile audit deliverables and review formal communications from auditors
- Assess reporting thresholds to ensure compliance and meet portfolio constraints for individual investors
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements in multiple foreign jurisdictions
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably with exposure to hedge funds or private equity
- CPA certification or active progress toward certification
- Knowledge of fixed income securities, derivatives, complex financial instruments, and master-feeder structures (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Total Return accounting system is a plus
