Our client is seeking a talented Financial Restructuring Associate with 2-3 years of experience to join their dynamic Financial Restructuring group in their New York office. Their practice is at the forefront of advising both public and private clients on reorganisations, restructuring issues, and transactions involving distressed companies and assets. Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on corporate reorganisations, distressed asset transactions, and other restructuring issues.
- Assisting with negotiations and execution of restructuring plans both inside and outside of bankruptcy.
- Working with a broad range of clients including public and private companies, financial institutions, and investors.
- Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, memoranda, and other legal documents for court proceedings and client transactions.
- Collaborating closely with senior attorneys and partners on complex financial restructuring cases.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial restructuring, bankruptcy law, or a closely related field.
- Strong academic background with a J.D. from a reputable law school.
- Admitted to practice law in New York.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with an ability to provide practical advice to clients.
