To work here is to be crucial to the organization's success.Financial Services Operations and Risk Career SpecialistReporting to the CEO, the Financial Services Operations and Risk Career Specialist's priorities will be to support Greenwood Project scholars toward career pathways into investment banking. Additionally, the Operations and Risk Career Specialist will support the design and development of effective systems to prepare students for internships in the finance industry. With the goal of students achieving full-time job offers in Financial Services, this Career Specialist will ensure students are sufficiently prepared with professional skills, operations and risk-specific knowledge and understanding to support their job performance during their summer internships. The Financial Services Operations and Risk Career Specialist will manage a cohort of college students, supporting them through various methods, including but not limited to 1:1 coaching, small group development sessions, large group professional development, online coursework, and on-site events. As a member of the Greenwood Project team and a key driver of student experience and success, this role will additionally support the development of our learning pathways and roadmaps, curriculum, evaluation tools, and other key impact measures. This unique opportunity allows you to have a significant and meaningful impact on the success of our scholars.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and coach a cohort of Greenwood Project scholars through hybrid, virtual, and in-person experiences with the aim of completing a successful junior-year operations summer internship in financial services. Evaluate and track scholar success on internal rubrics and roadmaps. Collect, track, and manage data relevant to the performance of students and regularly wrap up and report out that data to the team and other relevant stakeholders.Develop and oversee systems for student support that are grounded in best practices for coaching and cohort development.Research and understand best practices from organizations across sectors and use insights to support the continual improvement of coaching and cohort procedures and experiences.Manage and develop scholar relationships that support retention and success through their lifecycle in the Greenwood Project program.Develop and oversee operations partner feedback systems to ensure scholar success during their internships. Master's Degree preferred.
