Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Restaurant Manager for our client, a luxury resort set in a beautiful waterfront location on the Chesapeake Bay (roughly 70 miles from Richmond). They are in search of a Restaurant Manager for a newly launched fine dining venue within the property.

Responsibilities

• Hire and train a polished and professional service team who are motivated to deliver exceptional guest experiences on a consistent basis.
• Lead by example to ensure that the highest levels of hospitality standards are maintained across all aspects of service.
• Create innovative programs and promotions that drive revenue through increased guest patronage.
• Support cost and labor control to maximize profitability

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of full-service, fine dining restaurant management experience
• Hands-on style and team mentality, with flexibility in working hours and a willingness to cover shifts if needed
• Exceptional resourcefulness and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and guest service abilities
• Ability to work under pressure to expertly manage details, prioritize work and multi-task effectively
