LSI seeks a full-time Spanish Bilingual Fingerprint Associate as part of LSI's Refugee and Immigrant Services team serving Sioux City and the surrounding area. Work hours may include evenings and occasional weekend hours and statewide travel to meet availability of sponsors and clients. Applicant will need to be fluent in Spanish.What You'll DoThe Associate's responsibility is to perform fingerprinting for sponsors of unaccompanied minors. The process includes arranging appointments with sponsors, answering phone calls and emails requesting appointments, and working to maintain an up-to-date calendar of fingerprint appointments. The Community Services Associate will help sponsors complete paperwork necessary for the fingerprinting and perform the physical fingerprinting act. The Community Services Associate is also responsible for handling walk-in sponsors in accordance with the fingerprint calendar. The Community Services Associate will be responsible for meeting with sponsors within required time frames at within their schedule. In addition to their primary responsibilities, associates will hold primary responsibility for the TVAP/ASPIRE trafficking victims assistance programs and AOR application processing for the agency. TVAP and ASPIRE case management will require the Associate to conduct initial screenings of potential applicants and refer them to an immigration attorney for further evaluation. The central purpose of these programs is to assist foreign national survivors of human trafficking through trauma-informed, person-centered, and comprehensive case management services.The the associate will also support refugees arriving through LSI who choose to apply for an Authorization of Relationship (AOR) document to have their qualified family members join them in the US as well as other departments when requested by their Service Manager or other department supervisors. What You'll Need:Required: High school diploma or equivalent and two years of related experience. Qualified candidates will have the language skills to meet the needs of the clients served. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in human services field or related field and one year of related experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Related experience includes, but is not limited to: human services experience, experience working with safe release services or related programs, and/or general office or customer service experience. Experience with fingerprinting or data management is desired.
