Job Title: Line SupervisorCompany Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Line Supervisor to join our team and oversee our production line operations.Position Overview: As a Line Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the production line, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You will lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Production Line: Oversee the operation of the production line, ensuring that all equipment is running smoothly and production targets are being met.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production workers, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring that all team members adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality throughout the production process, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns or hazards promptly.
  • Production Planning: Coordinate with production planning and scheduling teams to ensure efficient production scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and packaging materials, coordinating with the procurement team to ensure adequate supplies are available for production.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction, implementing changes and initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records and documentation, including production reports, quality control logs, and inventory records. Generate regular reports on production performance and efficiency metrics.Qualifications:
    • Previous experience in a supervisory role in a food production environment.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and other departments.
    • Solid understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
    Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Additional education or training in food science, food safety, or related field preferred.
