POSITION SUMMARY:
The finishing/interior superintendent will be responsible for all job site-related activities at Ant Yapi Miami FL, a new high-rise construction project. Working closely with the project manager and project teams, the finishing-interior superintendent will monitor and report on job site safety and construction schedules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Enforce and monitor the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Work Safe regulations to ensure a safe jobsite
* Understand thoroughly the Company's Health and Safety Plan and execute its requirements, policies and procedures; ensure all safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
* Ensure that all work is performed by contractors and suppliers to contract documents (including drawings, specifications and contract scopes of work), with due regard to quality control and contract document compliance; report any discrepancies or omissions directly to the Project Manager and Operations Manager
* Work with the Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure appropriate action is taken in cases where contracts, plans, and specifications are inadequate or incomplete
* Attend and document scheduled Contractor and Consultant meetings as well as project meetings
* Maintain an updated construction schedule and meet project milestones on time and on budget
* Identify possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems
* Maintain a daily log and track any pertinent discussions, site visitors, meetings, and problems encountered, to become a part of the project record
* Ensure that all inspections, Occupancy Permits, and possession dates have been achieved to the satisfaction of the Project Manager
* Review and maintain the construction finishing schedule and ensure that all contractors and suppliers meet critical deadlines
* Prepare and expedite project deficiency lists
* Provide leadership and maintain a working relationship with all Contractors, Suppliers, Vendors and site team and encourage a positive work environment
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
* BS/BA with a minimum of requires 5-10 years of experience managing complex projects or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience with significant experience in complex Exterior Building Facades.
* Must be able to assist in preconstruction and project management for an initial project schedule as well as schedule updates and look ahead, communicate sequence and schedule updates to all subcontractors and vendors.
* Must have working knowledge of all project plans, specifications, contract with Owner, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, submittals, and all other project related documents, and maintain a complete and accurate set of as-built drawings.
* Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including MS Office, Procore preferred.
* Must have experience in coordinating and management of all material deliveries, subcontracts, and control of any self-perform work.
* Demonstrated ability to read, understand and interpret contract and insurance documents and forms, and make appropriate recommendations.
* Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels, both internal and external.
* Must have experience in monitoring all jobsite control reporting measures including daily reports, quantity reporting, and incident reports.
* Knowledge of construction, engineering, procurement, industry standards and other project-related activities, their interfaces and interdependencies.
* OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 (current).
* DOB Construction Superintendent License preferred.
* Site Safety Coordinator/Manager license preferred.
* 4 Hour Supported Scaffold User required.
* First Aid & CPR Training.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 5:00 PM. Must be willing to work the minimum and extended hours.
Travel:
No travel is expected for this position.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The position requires ability to climb temporary and permanent stairs, ladders and scaffolding, use personnel hoists, ability to walk the sites and negotiate around construction areas and climb ladders. The job requires use of hands to handle tools or controls.
