About the Role

Managing costs in the tech sector is a huge challenge – companies need to look for efficiencies and streamline their processes while maintaining space for constant innovation & creativity across distributed engineering teams. On our cloud cost optimization team, you will work with company leadership to transform the way they think about efficiency in product delivery. You will help drive cross-functional improvement initiatives over the line, help set up centers of excellence in the organization, and work through complicated problems facing the business – from migrations to product launches!

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our clients to present on and deliver initiatives.
• Build relationships with the client team to make sure we have a good understanding of their problems
• Own initiative roadmap with our client teams, driving activity with internal and external stakeholders and holding to timelines
• Develop models to help technical teams develop metrics to understand the performance and forecast evolution of their COGS spend and margin
• Develop and stay up to date with services & savings opportunities available in the cloud space- you will be speaking to skilled engineers & engineering team leaders.

Qualifications

Confidential Essential Requirements

• Experience working in a fast-moving environment that combines stakeholder management with analytic skills (technical consulting, product analytics, etc.)
• Experience delivering change & improvement via global initiatives, either internal or external.
• A strong and proven track record of building robust analytic models – whether you work in Python, SQL, or advanced Excel
• You can independently manage your own time and the time of your team - ability to manage a multi-faceted initiative

Desirable Requirements

• Interest in hyperscale cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience working with technical teams - understanding of the roles & structure of a technical organization
