We are currently seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician / Inspector for our Atlanta, Georgia market. Our new operation in Atlanta has great growth potential and we are looking for the right candidate to help us grow this market.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national fire alarm codes and regulations.
- Work closely with customers, technicians, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate inspection and maintenance schedules.
- Diagnose and evaluate systems that require servicing, as well as troubleshoot issues that arise during inspections.
- Properly document all inspections, tests, and repairs in accordance with company guidelines.
- Provide detailed reports and recommend corrective actions to the customer.
- Provide small repair quotes to customers as needed.
- Work includes climbing ladders, climbing stairs, lifting at least 50 lbs, and working in various settings such as hospitals, commercial buildings, and residential properties.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years work experience, training or education in the inspection, installation, maintenance, programming and repair of fire alarm and detection systems.
- Must be willing to obtain any necessary licenses for the State of Georgia.
- Experience or training with multiple life safety systems.
- Experience with pricing service repairs preferred.
- May work in a variety of business and institutions including commercial, industrial, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, education and government facilities.
