(ESOP).* Enjoy flexibility managing your work hours and personal needs with a single accrual leave plan.* Be a part of an empowered accountability culture where each employee-owner has a meaningful stake in the future success and growth of the company.A week in the life of a Combat Control Systems Engineer Technician:* Assist with test and evaluation; perform validations/verifications of AN/BYG-1systems* Assist in accomplishing Engineering Change Instructions (ECI)* Develop technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems, technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements* Support systems engineering activities with subject matter expertise* Direct on-site customer interface for equipment/systems installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed* Comply with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, and system specifications and test procedures; review change proposals for equipment impactsJob Requirements* Ten (10) years of practical experience and High School diploma/GED OR Six (6) years practical experience and an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or four-year electronics apprentice program.* Hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, repairing networking equipment and Windows servers and workstations* Ability to travel up to 10% of the timePreferred Qualifications* US Military systems/network Submarine experience* (FTOW) Fire control Technician of the Watch qualification preferred* AN/BYG-1 Combat Systems ExperienceFounded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $82,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
