A career at Koorsen includes competitive pay, a significant health package, an annual bonus program, life insurance, continuous learning offerings, matching 401k, paid holidays, generous PTO, tuition reimbursement, career growth opportunities, and more.SALARY $20-24/HOUR DEPENDING UPON EXPERIENCEResponsibilities:Inspect Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hose, Emergency, Exit Lights, and Kitchen Hood Suppression SystemsService any Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hoses, and Emergency and Exit Lights that need maintenanceSell new Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hoses, Emergency and Exit LightsEnsure customers understand the products and systems we maintain on their propertyInteract with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional mannerDemonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practicesOpen-minded willingness for continual learningFollow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core valuesAny other duties deemed appropriate by managementRequired Qualifications:Pass drug and background screeningsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to meet state licensing requirements and vendor certificationsValid driver's licensePreferred Qualifications:1-3 years of Fire Life Safety experienceRoute sales or sales experienceFire Extinguisher Vendor CertificationsPhysical Demands:Able to safely and effectively use general hand and power toolsMust be able to use a cell phone and cell phone app effectivelyLift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. Push and pull more significant than 75 lbs.Climb a ladder reaching a height of at least 12 feet and use a man lift to perform serviceExposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noiseWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.Hiring Process (in addition to an interview):New hires must complete the I-9 Verification form within 3 days of hire.
