Top Reasons to Work with Us - Competitive compensation based on the experience of $80k-$140k- Generous benefits package - Excellent Company Culture - Excellent growth opportunity What You Will Be Doing - Coordinate and design process piping for Fire Protection- Design all layouts for fire sprinkler systems and coordinate along with other MEP trades - Analyze 3D models provided by the design team and engineers - Design, develop and enforce modeling protocol and standards with VDC/BIM Manager - Assist the team with the construction review process for completeness, trade coordination, and construction methods - Perform various hydraulic calculations, stock listings, field surveys, and hydrant flow tests. - Perform quality assurance/quality control checks on Designs - Provide value analysis during the design process and recommend alternate solutions where appropriate What You Need for this Position BS in Mechanical Engineering Preferred and 3-10 years of experience and knowledge of: - Fire Protection Design - Mechanical construction - Familiarity with plumbing and NFPA codes - AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, Navisworks, and Office 365 Software - NICET certification is preferred - Knowledge of NFPA standards What's In It for You - Competitive compensation based on the experience of $80k-$140k- Vacation/PTO - 401k with company match - Medical/Dental/Vision So, if you are a Fire Protection Designer with great Mechanical Construction experience, please apply today!
