Job DescriptionPosition: Fire Protection Mechanic & Welders Reports To: Project Manager Status: Full Time Fire Protection Company is seeking an experienced FP Mechanic & Welders for immediate opening. The Fire Protection Mechanic will be responsible for the following:
- Study plans and specifications to help properly set up a construction site in collaboration with the supervisor.
- Evaluate the work to be done to make the various systems optimal / meet NFPA standards.
- Install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot various Fire Systems.
- Provide customer services and technical support for fire systems, including on-call services (on rotation) and travel to the client's site.
What will you need to succeed?
- Hold a CCQ Journeyman Fire Protection Mechanic card.
- Valid drivers license.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Resourceful and team spirit.
- Customer service skills.
- Available to work outside.
- Must be available to work with flexible schedules and occasional overtime hours (evenings/week-ends) respond to service calls.
- Experience with sprinkler systems or automatic extinguishers
- Fire alarm experience
