Fire Service Technician

Must haves:

-2-5 years of experience in Fire Services

• Fire panel experience
• Practical fire alarm experience

-AC/DC electrical experience

-Must have valid driver's license/MVR (tech will drive their own vehicle but will potentially get a JCI vehicle later on

-experience in reading/interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals

-experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage

Plusses:

-NICET II license

Day-to-Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Fire Service Technician to sit in Spartanburg, SC. This position involves troubleshooting and repairing installed systems including panel repair/reprogram device replacements, resolving low voltage circuit troubles and system testings. More responsibilities include:

• Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks
• Programming fire alarm, security and access control system panels
• On call and after-hours work required on occasion at customer needs

Compensation:

$25/hr to $27/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
