RANDALL's services and products are delivered through our 100,000 sq. ft. fabrication facility, set on 25 acres in Central Florida.Randall Mechanical is currently seeking top-tier Fire Sprinkler Fitter Helpers to work on large commercial/industrial projects in the Tampa, FL (Palmetto) area. We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.Position SummaryThe Fire Sprinkler Fitter Helper will assist with the installation of all forms of fire sprinkler systems and components. This is a key position for our growing team and requires someone who is interested in learning the fire sprinkler trade and a desire to start a career in the exciting and sustainable fire/life safety industry.Essential Functions
  • Assist Sprinkler Fitters with coordination and installation of overhead sprinkler systems, fire pumps, standpipes, and hose systems.
  • Attend and participate in weekly job site safety meetings.
  • Willing to travel to local job site locations.
  • Open to learning how to read and interpret blueprints, in order to help install fire sprinkler piping.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Communicate with Sprinkler Fitters and Foreman to ensure projects stay on time and on budget.
Desired Qualification Requirements
  • 0-3 years of trade experience on commercial construction projects.
  • Good verbal and writing skills to clearly communicate with customers, suppliers, other Randall employees, and other trades.
  • Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet contract requirements.
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety procedures at all times.
  • Ability to work well with others.
Physical RequirementsYou must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time.
