Role and Responsibilities
- Perform installation and certification of fire / life safety product lines.
- Guide installation process and ensure standards are met for quality and safety.
- Add devices to existing systems and adequately certify the system after any modification.
- Make minor repairs and programming changes as required to keep systems operational and reliable.
- Interact with the customer or general contractor to ensure work is performed as expected and on schedule.
- Communicate schedule ability, material needs, or any job-related issues with the Project Management team.
- Complete assigned tasks on time.
- Support after-hours emergency service call-out on a rotational basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial fire alarm system installation.
- Programming experience required
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret technical and parts manuals to diagnose and repair equipment
- Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
- NICET Certification preferred but not required
