Role and Responsibilities

  • Perform installation and certification of fire / life safety product lines.
  • Guide installation process and ensure standards are met for quality and safety.
  • Add devices to existing systems and adequately certify the system after any modification.
  • Make minor repairs and programming changes as required to keep systems operational and reliable.
  • Interact with the customer or general contractor to ensure work is performed as expected and on schedule.
  • Communicate schedule ability, material needs, or any job-related issues with the Project Management team.
  • Complete assigned tasks on time.
  • Support after-hours emergency service call-out on a rotational basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial fire alarm system installation.
  • Programming experience required
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical and parts manuals to diagnose and repair equipment
  • Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
  • NICET Certification preferred but not required
