- Firefighter/Paramedic Salary Range: $75,411 - $94,781
- Additional pay available for advanced certifications and education!

How You Add Value
- Ability to perform firefighting and fire prevention activities in protecting life and property.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Candidates must be at least 19 years of age.
- Candidates must possess a valid driver's license. Candidates that do not possess a Class B Texas license must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Class B license.
- Candidates must possess Texas Department of Health Services Paramedic Certification or National Registry Paramedic Certification or be currently enrolled in a national registry paramedic program.
- Texas Commission on Fire Protection Certification preferred, but not required. Candidates not currently certified will be sent to the Fire Academy.
- Out of State Candidates may be considered, if Paramedic Certified, and the state in which they are currently certified offers reciprocity with Texas.
