Firmware Engineer, On-site Contract Positions, C, C++, Wireless, Plano, TX

We are on the lookout for talented on-site contractors for for three office locations (Plano, TX, Syracuse, NY, New Providence, NJ) to join our client's dynamic team working on cutting-edge ORAN projects. We are searching for Firmware or Embedded Software Engineers with most of the following experience:

• Relevant project experience in Firmware/Software architecture, design, and implementations with a specific emphasis on wireless applications and radio products. Proven track record of successful implementation of FW code for wireless applications.
• Full proficiency in embedded software development in C and solid experience in object-oriented design and development using C++, and nice to have Python/Bash scripting knowledge
• Experience with Linux kernel software, Embedded Linux, RTOS, U-Boot/Kernel development and customization, Linux Device Tree, File system operations
• Design and development experience with SoC devices, with FPGA and Embedded Processors
• Familiar with wireless communication protocols (e.g., ORAN, LTE, 5G, NR, eCPRI, MQTT) or their implementation using FPGA-based systems.

Location: On-site at any of the three locations, Plano (TX), Syracuse, NY and New Providence, NJ

Contract Rate: $60-80/hr on W2 or C2C

Contract Term: One year or longer with potential for full-time

Citizenship: U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents and H1B. We will work directly with the firm holding your H1B.
