(First-Aid Registered Nurse needed for a full-time temporary contract opportunity with Yoh's well-known Fortune 500 entertainment client located in the Southwest Orlando, FL area. This job is expected to last about 6 months (not a travel assignment) --> Must be flexible to work rotating days 5 days a week, 8 hour shifts, between Monday and Sunday (includes holidays and evenings). Shifts are typically between the hours of 8:00am and midnight. Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of Florida
- Minimum three (3) years' experience as a Nurse
- Preferred experience in: Occupational Health, Employee Health, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Family Medicine, School Nursing, or Corrections type setting
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment
What You'll Be Doing:
- Basic first-aid and triage for peds through geriatric age groups (typically for heat exhaustion, nausea, fatigue, nose bleeds, etc.)
- Accurately provide medical assessments and care and when appropriate, refer patients to a higher level of care such as a local urgent clinic and/or emergency services
- Provide over-the-counter medication
- Provide medical care by taking vital signs, assessing patients' injury, illness, documenting findings, formulating and educating on treatment plans, and performing medical interventions
- Remain in communication with multi-disciplinary team members
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) REQUIRED
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- BLS certified
- Confident with computer use (ie MS Office products)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and work well under pressure
