Purpose: The purpose of the maintenance Technician position is to provide General Building and Construction work, and grounds maintenance at the Barrett Petfood Facilities. Attributes:Capable of lifting 50 lbsAble to obtain Forklift certificationWelding experience beneficial, not mandatoryAdheres to GMPs and safety protocolsExcellent troubleshooting skillsProficient with computersCollaborative team player, effective communicator with group/shiftResponsibilities:Complete facility maintenance activity to ensure compliance with proper food safety regulations and requirements. Grounds maintenance such as snow removal and lawncare as needed.
