Job Summary:
The First Shift Shipments Coordinator will be responsible for distributing materials within the Finishing and Traffic areas, executing daily pickup and delivery runs, and loading trucks efficiently.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED/HiSET is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and provide a driving record.
- Ability to obtain DOT medical card for driving company vehicles.
- Valid lift operator's license or willingness to complete training.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to perform work productively and safely.
- Reliability and a commitment to good attendance are required.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Capability to stand continuously and engage in frequent walking and stooping.
- Occasional sitting, crouching, and overhead reaching required.
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity are important.
- Compliance with safety standards, including wearing hearing protection and safety shoes, is mandatory.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM - 40 hours/week
- Pay range: $17-18/hour
- Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours per week.
