  • First Shift - Receiving Associate - Should have experience with receiving, unloading, and general warehouse experience and have great attention to detail skills. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT/PUSH/PULL UP TO 40 LBS REPEATEDLY AND UP TO 85 LBS OCCASIONALLY.

Overview The 1st Shift Receiver/Replenisher will be responsible for unloading and receiving all inbound shipments of product. Will also be responsible for replenishing primary pick slots for the selection shift. Develops good relationships with all warehouse associates, complies with all company policies. Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for quickly and accurately receiving and reconciling inbound POs;
  • Properly transfer received pallets from the dock to proper location;
  • Responsible for replenishing primary pick slots in order to set up the Selection shift;
  • Operates jacks, forklifts, receiving dock levelers, and other warehouse machinery;
  • Responsible for inspecting product for deficiencies or breakages;
  • Responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly workplace at all times to include moving pallets, sweeping, and successfully operating manual and electric power jacks;
  • Responsible for following all safety regulations and working in a safe and ergonomic manner;
  • Receive, putaway, and replenish products in dry storage, cold storage, and freezer storage areas.
  • Acts in a stewardship capacity for the Company, works as a functional member of the team, has ability to self-direct and self-regulate work-day;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Requirements Placement Criteria • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, or 3-5 years in the field or in a related area, or suitable combination of education and relevant experience preferred; • Ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally, and provide exceptional service, both internally and externally at all times. • All employees are expected to exhibit exemplary customer service skills, both with external customers, vendors, visitors, co-workers, and management staff. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to stand, walk. lift and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is consistently required to stand and walk the entire shift. The employee must consistently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. and must be able to retrieve boxes consistently from a height of 5 &fac12; foot. Salary Description Hourly plus incentives
