Discover the life that awaits you at Accor, visit what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quo! #BELIMITLESSWhat is in it for you:Discounted Hotel Rooms and Food & Beverage rates to employees at our sister properties around the globe.We provide learning programs through our Academies to promote growth and development so that you can perform at your full potential.Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Planet 21 and WATCH.Job DescriptionSummary of Responsibilities, Qualifications and Requirements: Reporting to the Director of Wellness, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.Supervise and ensure all fitness and Club services, protocols and procedures are followed.Ensure the cleanliness of the Fitness Center and teaching area including where equipment is housed.Ensure the smooth operation of all equipment through periodic service checks and reporting and issues promptly.Plan and conduct a variety of fitness exercise classes including indoor cycling, strength and conditioning, Pilates, yoga, Aqua aerobics, dance fitness, etc.Proficiency in personal fitness training sessions, group-training experiences, and in-service education sessions is an additional advantage to the position.QualificationsMaintain professional certifications (AEA, ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM, YMCA) while continually pursuing a greater degree of knowledge and expertise.Bachelor's degree in Sports Education, Sports Physiology, Kinesiology, Dance, and/or Physical Education.Maintain current CPR certification.Minimum of 5 years of group fitness teaching experience.Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.Provide a high level of guest satisfaction through effective communication.Highly responsible & reliable.Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.Assist in the recruitment, development and training of all fitness staff.Ensure proper staffing and scheduling in accordance to productivity guidelines.Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs.Follow departmental policies and procedures.Follow all safety and sanitation policies.Other duties as assigned.Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Possible Jumping; Bending; Running, as necessary to demonstrate exercise routines.Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting.Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.Job functions are subject to possible modifications to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities.
