Job Title: Fitness Housekeeper - TEMPORARYJob Purpose
- Ensure Club Fit standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety are maintained through all areas of the Fitness floor
- Regularly clean and maintain all equipment and report maintenance or other equipment defects in a timely fashion
Operations
- Regularly clean and sanitize all Fitness floor equipment
- Actively review and report equipment defects via Club Vitals
- Perform other duties as assigned
Department Strategy and Communication
- Show attention to detail by completing daily cleaning checklist.
- Submit checklist to Fitness Director for review.
- Advise Fitness Director of any cleaning supplies needed
- Regularly read communication for specific equipment cleaning needs
- Provide genuine hospitality to members and staff, ensuring that the members are certain that we care about their well-being
- Regularly interact with members of the Fitness staff
Professional and Technical Knowledge
- Ongoing Club Fit Training
- Mandatory compliance Training in 1Huddle
- Education and Experience
Team Work
- Wear uniform, including club-issued shirt and name tag
- Show a commitment to embracing the neighborhood by maintaining a positive relationship with members, colleagues, manager and all Club Fit staff
- Perform all tasks to ensure the cleanliness of the Fitness Department
- Be punctual for all scheduled shifts
Job Requirements Ability to:
- Stand and walk around for extended periods of time
- Lift 45 lbs
- Understand and communicate both verbally and written in English
- Follow job related directions
- Work a flexible schedule as required by business needs
- Understand and comply with all company safety policies and their requirements
- Attend training meetings as scheduled
