Responsibilities:

Our Fitness Floor Attendants are primarily responsible for greeting and assisting guests in the cardio and weight rooms and maintaining weight room equipment. You will greet guests entering the fitness area, give tours of the area, and direct guests to classes, etc. You will need to provide above and beyond guest service to guests working out, including but not limited to, offering assistance on machines and offering headphones and cold towels to guests. You will clean and inspect the operation of each piece of weight room equipment on a daily basis and ensure the weight room and cardio room are neat at all times. You will also clean used headphones to ensure a proper supply for guests, and re-stock towels and headphones.

Qualifications:

You will need to have a minimum one year of experience in a guest service related job. Priority will be given to candidates with a fitness background, which includes work-related experience or education/training in exercise physiology, health, etc.

You will also need to have CPR certification and basic first aid knowledge.

To be successful, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to motivate and work with a diverse group of people. Of course, you will need to be professional, outgoing and able to represent Canyon Ranch at a public level. You will need to be guest-service oriented and able to work effectively under pressure.
