Salary: $3,042.00 Monthly Location : 1103 South Frio San Antonio, TX Job Type: Full-time Regular Job Number: 2024-01386 Department: Purchasing and Procurement Opening Date: 09/09/2024 Closing Date: Continuous Summary Under general supervision, is responsible for maintaining fixed asset inventory control for the County; prepares reports; performs data entry; monitors and inspects fixed assets and performs related duties as required. Duties and Responsibilities

• Receives, tags, and verifies and compares inventory of County property to office records, and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies
• Communicates and provides information and support for reports presented to Fixed Asset Supervisor
• Scans all information on County wide stolen, lost or destroyed fixed assets
• Inspects and tags new controlled fixed assets prior to acceptance into the County Inventory System
• Assists in identifying assets and preparing for auction
• Performs other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

• High School or General Education Development (GED) certificate, and two (2) years' experience in supply, purchasing and inventory control; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of general office procedures
• Skill in the filing and organization of material; skill in utilizing word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Office Word and Excel); skill in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to operate personal computer, and basic office equipment; ability to maintain records and documents; ability to compile data and organize reports; ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals utilizing tact and diplomacy; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, County employees, outside organizations/vendors, and the general public
• Must secure and maintain a pre-employment physical and a pre-employment drug screen test
• Must secure and maintain a favorable background check
• Must possess and maintain a valid Texas driver's license
• May be required to work more than 40 hours during the workweek

• Constantly working in indoor conditions
• Frequently moves items weighing up to 10-30 pounds
• Occasionally moves items weighing up to 30-75 pounds
• Frequently bend or twist their body
• Frequently use hands to handle, control, or feel objects
• Frequently communicates with others; must be able to exchange accurate information
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
• Positions self to perform essential functions
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position
