Our locally recognized end client is in need of a Staff Accountant for a 3-month TEMPORARY ONSITE CONTRACT opportunity. This is a full time (40 hour per week) position which requires the ability to work first shift 9-5 PM EST, M-F, and pays a RANGE of $30-35/hr W2. What You Will Be Doing:
- Assisting with the backlog of processing and clearing errored retirements in fixed asset system.
- Assisting with recording month end journal entries, gathering data for year-end audit requests, and ensuring movement of fixed asset workorders through general ledger accounts.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance PREFFERED.
- 2-4 years' accounting experience REQUIRED.
- Previous experience processing and clearing errored retirements in fixed asset systems REQUIRED.
