Seize the opportunity to work in Fixed Income Financing supporting the desk and other key stakeholders with P&L, Risk and Financing analysis in a fast-paced environment. The role offers the chance to work with a global team and make a difference in the Global Finance team and FIF business.

As a Corporate & Investment Bank - Fixed Income Financing Product Control - Analyst in our prestigious organization, you will have the opportunity to work on P&L, Risk, Balance Sheet and Funding analysis and function as a financial advisor to the business. Additional opportunities will include working cross-functionally with Technology, Operations, and other Finance & Business Management teams to deliver consequential firm wide and process improvement projects.

Job responsibilities

* Assist with daily P&L and Risk reporting and month-end and quarter end close processes

* Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, senior finance management and other key stakeholders

* Assist with daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly markets commentary with robust Risk & P&L explains platform

* Partner with the business to drive forth and implement robust controls and new business initiatives utilizing new technology

* Drive coordination across various front & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely manner

* Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control

* Support various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related area

* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus

* Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.

* Demonstrate ability and experience with process improvements

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience working with other Finance systems

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

* Strong team player with the ability to work independently, as needed.

* Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while demonstrating an ability and passion for process improvements

* Fundamental understanding of financial products such as repos, swaps, futures, and bonds in a trading environment
