About this role

What will you be responsible for?

We are seeking skilled or trainable Fixed Plant Maintenance Technicians to join our CC&V team. We welcome applicants with a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences to contribute to our mission.

Your role will consist of

Here is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:

* We ensure strict alignment to State, Federal, and Newmont Policies and Procedures, emphasizing Safety and Environmental regulations and best practices.

* We diagnose, repair, and overhaul equipment and machinery related to critical process operations such as Mill, ADR, Crusher, etc.

* We uphold the integrity of systems and equipment, performing various types of welds as required.

* We implement the replacement, alignment, and reconstruction of diverse mechanical components, including belts, motors, pulleys, pumps, and more.

* You will also be responsible for other duties in line with the Fixed Plant Maintenance Technician role.

Education:

* Technical certifications, Millwright degrees, or equivalent maintenance experience are preferred; however, we encourage applicants at different levels of experience.

Experience:

* Demonstrated dedication, reliability, and passion, supported by a consistent work history.

Skills and Abilities:

* Possession of a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience is essential.

* Proficient in reading, writing, and adept at problem-solving.

Working Conditions & Location

* Your work schedule will involve a 10-hour rotating day shift, with occasional on-call duties.

* The Cripple Creek & Victor (CC&V) Mine site is situated at elevations ranging from approximately 9,400 ft. to 10,600 ft. above sea level. As such, you must be physically capable of working at these altitudes.

* Be prepared for frequent and potentially severe changes in weather conditions, requiring you to perform tasks within varying environmental challenges and altitudes.

This position has multiple levels (which may range from level 1 up to level 6). The hourly rate offered for this overtime-eligible role will depend on the level, and the range of the hourly rate is USD $30.70- 47.32
