About this role
The Fixed Plant RCM/ CBM Technician will be responsible for lubrication duties, lubrication support, oil sampling, vibration data collection, UT & UE inspections. Assisting Senior RCM Technician in technical evaluations, data gathering, maintenance support and Root Cause Analysis.
Your role will consist of
* Data Collection: Collect equipment data, identify potential failures and areas for improvement.
* Failure Mode Analysis: Participate in Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes.
* Maintenance Support: Perform and recommend maintenance strategies based on RCM principles, including preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance.
* Reporting: Prepare reports on equipment reliability, maintenance activities and equipment condition.
* Training: Attend training classes pertinent to RCM activities to gain knowledge and expand skillset.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the Asset Care & Reliability Supervisor, Maintenance Engineer and Senior RCM Technician to develop analyzation expertise and expand knowledge base.
* Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and improve skills to enhance equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
* Compliance: Ensure all RCM activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Your Training, Skills & Experience
Education:
* Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial equipment experience.
Experience:
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, reliability engineering, or a related field, preferably in the mining industry.
* Able to drive a motor vehicle and must possess a valid driver's License.
* Able to read, write and possess basic math and science skills to complete daily reporting and analyzing requirements
Certifications:
* Certification, Exposure or training in an RCM principles. (Vibration, Lubrication, Thermal, UE, etc.;)
Knowledge:
* Familiar with CBM/RCM principles and methodologies.
* Familiarity with rotating equipment and maintenance operations.
* Familiarity of reliability analysis techniques.
* Proper lubrication and servicing of mechanical and electrical equipment.
* Basic understanding of hand tools, their uses and safe handling practices.
* Basic computer skills (email, website, drives and CMMS).
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
Other Activities:
* Assist in Environmental State and Compliance Inspection.
* Ensure that work execution standards are reliable, repeatable and best practices are replicated across all fixed plants.
Working Conditions & Location
* You will work 10-hour Day shifts, Mon-Thu or Tues-Fri, 06:00-16:30.
* The Cripple Creek & Victor (CC&V) Mine site is located at elevations ranging from approximately 9,400 ft. to 10,600 ft. above sea level. Workers in this position are routinely exposed to conditions at various work sites throughout this range of elevations and must be physically capable of working at this altitude.
* Weather conditions can and do change frequently and can become severe at times.
* Ability to complete work tasks while exposed to weather conditions / elevation.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $59,120- 70,205. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
