What You'll Do:
* Safely work around industrial equipment using the proper PPE and safety procedures.
* Accurately load material into containers with the specified weight.
* Properly label containers and record container weight.
* Ensure containers are set up to meet production needs.
* Perform safety inspections and report any unsafe concerns.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Provide superior customer service.
* Operate forklift.
* Assist chemical operators as needed.
* Maintain material containers.
* Track and record process information and production data.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Strong interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and display initiative.
* Basic mechanical aptitude.
* Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
* Previous experience in manufacturing and/or chemical industry.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Proven customer service skills.
* Attention to accuracy and detail.
* Forklift experience and certification.
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
* Previous flaker or chemical operating experience.
* Previous warehouse experience.
* Knowledge of chemicals and chemical hazards.
* Working SAP knowledge.
* Forklift certification.
* Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
* Will be subject to extended periods of physical activity and lifting.
* Must be willing to work in a warehouse environment and outdoors in inclement weather.
* Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
* Willingness to work up to 12-hour shifts, overtime, and holidays as needed.
* Clean-shaven appearance may be required for respirator usage.
* Ability to operate a forklift.
