They are seeking Flavor Compounder to join their team!Salary/Hourly Rate$26.65/hrPosition OverviewThe Flavor Compounder is responsible for the precise mixing and compounding of flavor ingredients according to specified formulas. The Flavor Compounder will ensure the highest quality standards are met for each batch. This role will work the 3rd shift, 11:00 PM 7:30 AM.Responsibilities Of The Flavor Compounder
  • Accurately follow formulas and processing instructions to compound and blend flavor ingredients
  • Operate heating and cooling systems to achieve the desired consistency and quality of batches
  • Inspect raw materials for correct color, odor, and quality, and report any discrepancies to the supervisor and Quality Control (QC)
  • Process samples and maintain proper documentation for quality checks
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations at all time
  • Demonstrate expertise in compounding formulas, making precise adjustments, and handling both liquid and solid materials
  • Utilize automated systems for batching and barcoding
  • Perform additional duties as required by the production team
Qualifications For The Flavor Compounder
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably within the flavor or fragrance industry
  • Proficient in basic math skills, including conversions between the Metric and English systems
  • Familiarity with computer systems, automated processes, and software for batching and barcoding
  • Experience with dispensing, batch-processing, and operating automated dosing systems and forklifts
  • Basic understanding of the relationship between room operations and support systems such as Bioton, Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTP), and Tank Farms is advantageous
  • Ability to meet production volume standards and schedules while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Capable of multitasking and following instructions with minimal supervision
Education Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED is required
