Fleet Coordinator Assistant Drive your career forward with us! Mountain Engineering (MGE) is recruiting for a Fleet Coordinator Assistant to join our team. This position will support the Safety/Fleet team in ensuring the efficient operation, administration and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles. This position will provide administrative and operational support to the Fleet Manager in overseeing all fleet-related activities. This role requires strong communication skills, organization, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating maintenance, inspections, and repairs for the company fleet of vehicles.
- Monitor vehicle registration, licensing, and insurance documentation to ensure compliance.
- Track fuel usage, maintenance schedules, and mileage logs to ensure vehicles are operating efficiently.
- Coordinate with service vendors, mechanics, and other external partners for repairs and services.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, vehicle inventory, and maintenance history.
- Help manage the fleet's procurement process, including retrieving vehicles, delivering vehicles, and swapping vehicles.
- Provide support with fleet-related reports, data entry, and analysis.
- Assist in preparing reports for fleet performance, cost analysis, and other operational metrics.
- Respond to inquiries and requests related to fleet operations, providing timely and accurate information.
- Monitor vehicle condition, ensure cleanliness, and track vehicle locations as needed.
Skills & Education Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in fleet management, logistics support, or automotive repairs is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of fleet management software or willingness to learn is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
