We are seeking a skilled Fleet & Equipment Technician to join our team and make a meaningful impact in supporting our mission.As a Fleet & Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining District vehicles and mobile equipment. You may lead and monitor the work of staff and help develop and carry out Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will Ensure the safety of all vehicles, mobile equipment, and staff. You will utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software to document all related vehicle and mobile equipment assets and to schedule and document the work performed on said assets. In this position, you will also utilize engine diagnostics equipment/software, assist with budgeting, and ordering supplies. You may respond to emergencies during regular and after hours, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a diverse range of vehicles, equipment, and mechanical systems essential to our operations. This position may be hired as a Level II or III, depending upon experience and knowledge.
