Position: Fleet and Facility AssistantJob Summary: The Fleet and Facility Assistant is responsible for maintaining the organization's fleet of vehicles and assisting with the upkeep of facilities. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, a commitment to safety and quality service. The ability to travel within a 100-mile radius as needed. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can manage tasks efficiently without direct supervision.Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Upkeep: Perform routine vehicle inspections and facility walkthroughs to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Installation and Repairs: Install seat covers, toolboxes, and replace taillight bulbs, along with other minor vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Heavy Lifting: Ability to lift items up to 75 lbs as part of daily responsibilities.
- Travel: Travel to various locations within a 100-mile radius to perform maintenance and repair duties. No overnight travel required.
- Shared On-Call Work: Available for on-call assignments outside of regular Monday to Friday work hours to address urgent maintenance needs.
- Facility Support: Assist with cleaning, inventory management, and other facility maintenance tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Previous experience in fleet maintenance or facility management preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Good organizational, communication Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to pass a drug (hair follicle) and alcohol test.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm
- Shared on- call Work required, with flexibility to respond to emergencies.
