T.G. Lee Dairy has an immediate job opening for a skilled fleet maintenance mechanics to perform routine maintenance and repair services on different types of fleet vehicles under DOT and company regulations. In this role, the person will also perform preventive fleet maintenance and diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic systems to identify root causes of fluctuating failures/conditions.

- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach and crawl and possibly sit for virtually the entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others
- Must be able to work in a dusty, greasy environment, with moderate noise and cold and hot temperature ranges
- Must be able to follow all required work safe practices
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Class A/B license preferred
- Transport Refrigeration and Trailer Truck experience preferred
- Must be computer literate and have experience with engine, ABS, transmission, etc., as well as diagnostic equipment and software
- Must have experience with manipulation of tools, equipment and truck components
- Minimum one year experience with refrigeration equipment
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment.
- Two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Refrigeration license preferred
