In this role you will direct and coordinate activities of workers engaged in the service and repair of forklifts, fleet cars and transportation equipment, and assist in plant equipment maintenance activities.Location: Orlando, FL area (Lake Panasoffkee)Compensation: Base salary+Responsible for the safe operation of the maintenance shop in compliance with company, OSHA and EPA rules and regulations.Confers with Terminal Manager and Director of Maintenance to arrange for equipment such as commercial fleet vehicles and trailers to be released from service for inspection, service, or repair.Enforces established policies for inspection, maintenance, and repair of vehicles and related equipment; schedules repairs; assigns and directs activities of service and repair personnel; and follows up on repairs being made.Coordinates the purchase of supplies, tools, and machinery with Maintenance Director.Contracts for repair services not performed in shop.Complete and process timely maintenance reports, work orders, manuals, repair orders, and other applicable paperwork associated with maintenance shop; provides daily updates of activities to Maintenance Director and Terminal Manager as well as the General Manager. Use shop tools and equipment in a correct and safe manner. Instruct staff on safe use of tools and equipment.Responsible for all shop operations and terminal upkeep including housekeeping and organization of tools and equipment.Trains and advises staff in use of maintenance diagnostic procedures and equipment.Performs contract maintenance for the plant facilities and associated equipment or assists in maintenance and repair of plant equipment.Family owned, great benefits, Med, Den, Life, Vision, 401k, PTO
