The Fleet Administrator is responsible for directing and managing the costs of the vehicles owned or leased by AAF International. This position plays a pivotal role in partnering with our fleet management company (Holman) to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our vehicle fleet and oversees all aspects of fleet management to support the organizational needs of our branches, manufacturing sites, corporate, and service locations across the United States and Canada.Key Accountabilities:Develop and oversee vehicle lifecycle management, including acquisitions, preventative maintenance, repairs, replacement, remarketing and disposal strategies.Partner and assist in management of vehicles with third party vendors across all channels.Gather, analyze and implement the organization's transportation needs across manufacturing sites, service and sales channels and develop solutions to meet those needs effectively.Continuously gather and analyze processes and vehicle usage and fleet performance to detect inefficiencies and develop solutions to optimize process, reduce costs, increase productivity and improve overall efficiency.Working with others, manages the responsibility to limit a company's liability, improves safety within the locations.Will create and maintain a program that proactively improves driving behaviors and reduces incidents.Work with the mergers and acquisitions leaders to ensure efficient and timely transition of fleet vehicles into or out of the organization.Maintain contemporary knowledge of regulations, legislation changes to maintain fleet compliance and avoid fines.Foster relationship with the fleet management company and vehicle OEMs to ensure timely and cost effective vehicle ordering, assignment, maintenance and repair services.Interact with vehicle OEMs on certified pricing agreements, allocation and production needs by class of vehicle.Partner with corporate risk and safety teams and insurance carriers to support, develop, implement and improve programs impacting fleet and driver safety, including telematics and safety devices.Manage and maintain tracking systems (Holman Insights) and other systems as required to develop programs and execute performance targets for the fleet.Set up and maintain Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) for violations according to company policyEnsure the organization's fleet and vehicle policies and procedures are updated and maintained.Mentor and onboard new drivers to the fleet management system and train and influence field operators on best practices within the industry.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsPosition Requirements:Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business or related field;SIx (6) years of directly related project/vehicle management;Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel & PowerPoint in particular);Familiarity with inventory management practices;Strong interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization;Proficiency in fleet management software and tools;Budget management and financial acumen;Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to fleet management;Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
