Help us help our client keep their diesel fleet in top-notch condition!What You'll Do:As a Diesel Fleet Mechanic, you will:
- Diagnose & Repair Diesel Engines: Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, and after-treatment systems.
- Maintain Hydraulic and Electrical Systems: Service hydraulic systems and 12V/24V electrical components.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on diesel trucks and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Order & Replace Parts: Source and install parts for engines, control instruments, and other mechanical devices.
- Document Work: Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance tasks completed.
- Advanced Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex issues in diesel engines and systems.
What We're Looking For:
- Diesel Mechanic Experience: Proven experience working on diesel engines and systems, including fuel systems and emissions components.
- Hydraulic & Electrical Expertise: Knowledge of hydraulic systems and 12V/24V electrical systems.
- Tools: Must own personal hand tools, power tools, and grinders.
- Diesel Mechanic Background: Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic is required.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's Degree in Diesel Technology is a plus.
