About Our JobStockkeeper II - Fleet Logistics Operations Team The Fleet Logistics Operations team is seeking a customer-focused Stockkeeper II to play a critical role in managing automotive and heavy equipment parts. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate inventory, procuring parts efficiently, and supporting fleet operations to the assigned location. In this position your ability to provide exceptional service directly impacts the efficiency of fleet operations. LOCATION This position reports to work 5 days a week. Starting hours are between 6 am or 8 am ending hours 2:30 am - 4:30 pm. This position is classified as an essential worker.What You'll Bring Customer Service Excellence
  • Act as the primary point of contact for fleet personnel, providing prompt and professional assistance with parts requests and inquiries.
  • Prioritize a customer-first approach when researching and ordering parts to ensure fleet operations run smoothly.
  • Provide clear and consistent communication to customers regarding parts availability, ETA's, and reason for delay.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, customers, and team members to ensure effective parts procurement and issue resolution.
  • Maintain a professional, helpful, and solution-oriented attitude, to ensure a positive experience for our customers and teammates.
Tasks Include
  • Run and update reports for late or unreceived parts, following up with vendors to keep customers informed.
  • Research and fulfill open parts requests promptly, ensuring action comments are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Process parts requests on a first-in, first-out basis, including any pending from previous shifts, to minimize downtime for fleet operations.
  • Check and respond to emails and phone messages promptly, providing timely solutions.
  • Assist customers with non-stock parts orders and locating stock items, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
  • Receive and verify deliveries from vendors, updating inventory systems to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Provide a detailed end-of-shift email turnover, ensuring smooth communication with the location team and supervisor.
  • Clean and organize the parts room to create a welcoming and efficient space for team members, as well as promoting a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Reconcile purchasing card (P-Card) transactions. Address and resolve monthly report corrections as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Complete perpetual inventory counts as parts are issued as well as assist in the completion of a yearly inventory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience in automotive or heavy equipment parts distribution or installation.
  • Ability and adaptability to meet customer needs with professionalism and urgency.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., AssetWorks) or similar tools.
  • Ability to utilize multiple systems to complete tasks, reports, and look up information. (MS Office, Outlook, Adobe, web based and paper or PDF catalogs)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with a commitment to teamwork and excellence but ability to work with limited supervision.
Work Environment
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and dollies for stock movement while ensuring safe practices.
  • Utilize asset management systems and other software tools to maintain inventory and support customers effectively.
