Responsibilities include inspecting company vehicles, ensuring that required maintenance is completed, making sure that vehicles are clean, and maintaining required vehicle paperwork. This position will also assist program staff in developing transportation routes and providing transportation training to staff.This position will have an average of 20 hours per week and expected schedule will be Mon-Fri, 1pm-5pm.Essential Functions:* Performs daily and monthly quality checks on fleet vehicles and follows up on any issues that are identified. Confirms all accessible equipment is available and in working condition,and verifies that vehicles have required safety equipment. Ensures vehicle binders are intact with required documentation for each fleet vehicle.* Ensures maintenance issues are completed in a timely manner, and schedules routine oil changes and maintenance checks. Develops and maintains professional relationships with local maintenance shops and businesses.* Ensures the cleanliness of all fleet vehicles meet the organization's standards during daily checks. Cleans vehicles according to their needs.* Maintains required paperwork (quality checks, mileage, gas receipts and trainings reports) for each fleet vehicle and uploads documents in shared folders/programs. Completes monthly reports on vehicle maintenance activities and staff compliance related to transportation.* Collaborates with management team to develop transportation routes for community service team members. Works with management team regarding the utilization of fleet vehicles for other program needs.* Supports program leadership with onboarding and annual transportation training for all employees assigned to transport individuals using fleet vehicles.A successful candidate will possess:* Knowledge of vehicle maintenance.* Able to communicate professionally with internal and external parties.* Able to create and implement transportation routes and collaborate with other program members to adjust routes as needed.* Able to proactively solve problems that arise.* Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and basic computer skills.Qualifications:* Must have high school diploma or equivalent and driver's license.* Previous experience working with vehicle maintenance preferred.* Previous experience working with vendors preferred.
