Fleet Team Maintenance Technicians support the 315 Logistics Fleet Program by completing day-to-day tasks needed to maintain the 315 Logistics' fleet of Amazon branded and unbranded vehicles. In doing so, this position assists in ensuring maximum operational availability of fleet vehicles to meet Amazon route commitments.This hybrid position would include fleet tasks typically in the morning and delivery driving tasks thereafter to complete shifts. This position will run congruent with the Amazon Delivery Driver position and individuals must qualify for both. You must have worked and be in good standing with the company for 30 days. Routinely, this fleet position will:a. complete fleet tasks as assigned on a central communication platform such as Band.Fleet tasks could include but not limited to: tire tread check, tire changes, bulb checks, transportation of vans, cataloging damage, cleaning vans, basic changing of parts, coolant and windshield fluid level checks, removing items from tire tread, etc. b. clearly communicate the task completion and any relative pictures, videos, and notes on the tasks assigned.c. understand the daily morning fleet work requires completion of tasks with a sense of urgency so all tasks are performed prior to route roll out. d. understand that failure to complete fleet tasks as assigned can cause 315 Logistics' inability to meet on-time compliance by Amazon or Fleet Program standards.e. be prepared to be in the elements of the day, regardless of weather to perform duties as needed.f. work together and with the guidance of the Fleet Supervisor to uphold 315 Logistics Fleet Program.g. assist with fleet record keeping.h. include but is not limited to, four (4) - ten (10) hour shifts weekly, the candidate must have availability on weekends and throughout the week. i. complete other tasks as assigned.This position is best suited for someone with technical ability as it will be very hands-on and this person will perform maintenance repairs.Must meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 21+ years old
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Successfully pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening
- Must have a clean motor vehicle report
- Must be able to operate & navigate an Amazon branded delivery van, GVWR 10,000 lbs. or less (Initial training provided)
- Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
- Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
