Can setup, troubleshoot, improve each process. As a Technical Lead, this associate will be responsible for the training and development of the operators, supporting setup, improving product quality, reducing cost through process improvements, ensuring safety, supporting equipment maintenance, ensure operators follow procedures, and supporting development work within Rotary Print. Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and leadership consistent with the organization's core values and purpose and giving all production associates feedback to the same standards.Drive the overall cleanliness and orderliness of work areas compliant with ISO13485 and FDA standards.Ensure material I.D., status, segregation, and traceability during all phases of production.Review the contents of job jackets daily, identify factors which may be limiting production's ability to follow work instructions, meet quality requirements or meet the quoted estimate for material and labor, and forward recommended updates to the Director of Manufacturing for review and approval.To set up, run and do troubleshooting of product based on established job rates. Post rates achieved on run boards.Communicate rate deficiencies per prescribed procedures.Train others on equipment including all safety requirements and be listed as trainer on that individuals training matrix.Perform quality inspections per Quality Department procedures and Engineering work instructions and document results.Responsible for accurate documentation of inspection, equipment maintenance, the Training Matrix and work instruction changes.Perform preventative maintenance on equipment per Engineering procedures and ensure charts or logs are up to date.Positively contribute to company's safety, quality and production goals.Responsible for accurately describing to customers and guests the equipment and processes used within the assigned Value Stream.Responsible for reporting to Management any unsafe working conditions.Understand and instruct others in accurate print reading and interpretation. Accountabilities: Approximately 60% of time dedicated to supporting operators in Rotary Print.Approximately 20% spent training.Approximately 20% running a job on the floor. Training/Education/Experience: 10+ years Rotary Converting experience.High School diploma.Post High School education preferred, preferably a technical degree or certification.A minimum of 2 years leading others in a manufacturing environment preferred.3 years manufacturing experience, 2 years medical manufacturing preferred.Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.Experience in an ISO13485 and GMP compliance environment preferred.Able to interpret and understand mechanical drawings. Competencies/Talents/Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to recommend and submit production procedure changes for review and approval in accordance with Innovize documentation change control requirements.Strong math skills.Ability to read blueprints, understand geometric dimensioning and tolerances, and identify non-conformances or borderline quality conditions that require corrective action.Exceptional organization skills, self-directed, and results driven.Ability to process conflicting information, search for facts, problem solve, and make responsible decisions while under pressure.Excellent coaching skills to gain commitment of associates to solve quality and production problems.Can speak, understand and write English.
